Irène Mopin est enseignante-chercheure en acoustique sous-marine à ENSTA (Brest), affiliée au laboratoire Lab-STICC. Ses travaux de recherche portent sur la réponse acoustique du fond marin et de la colonne d’eau, ainsi que sur les interactions entre science et création artistique. Elle développe notamment des projets alliant acoustique, art et écologie sonore, afin de sensibiliser aux enjeux environnementaux des milieux océaniques.
Irène Mopin is a lecturer and researcher in underwater acoustics at ENSTA (Brest), affiliated with the Lab-STICC research laboratory. Her research works focus on the seafloor and water column acoustic response, and the interactions between science and artistic creation. She develops projects that combine acoustics, art and sound ecology, with the aim of raising awareness about the environmental issues affecting oceanic environments.
